Cornish Charcuterie Pork Rillette
Ingredients: Pork, Duck Fat, Salt, Pepper
Store in a cool place, once opened refrigerate and use within 3 days.
Cornish Charcuterie’s Award Winning Pork Rillette is made from lop pigs that are born and reared on their own farm. The pork is slow poached in duck fat, shredded and lightly seasoned to enhance the flavour of the meat, not disguise it. This rillette won Best in Category at Taste of the West Awards 2013. Ideal in hampers or as a gift. Take a jar with you when you are invited out for dinner instead of (or as well as ) a bottle and we are pretty sure it will be very much appreciated.
Ambient pate is fantastic stuff! Keep it in the cupboard until you know you want it, chill for an hour or so before serving (you don’t have to but we think it’s nicest slightly chilled) and then dig in. It makes a fabulous ‘just in case’ meal option! We also love the ‘Mason’ style clip jar this product comes in which can be usefully repurposed or recycled.
