Hawkshead Relish Hot Garlic Pickle

More garlicky than a garlic thing and a lovely chilli kick – another of our Artisan Food Hall favourites and as it has also been award a Gold Taste Award in the Great Taste Awards of 2009, we are not alone!

Proper Garlic Pickle –  we could list a squillion uses for it but our favourites would be to:-

a)  serve with your poppadums

b) mix 1 heaped tbsp with  butter and slather on a crusty baguette or ciabatta – sprinkle cheese on top and bake in the oven for 12 minutes to make a garlic bread with a kick

c) serve with any cold meats (particularly chicken or pork)

About Hawkshead Relish

The Hawkshead Relish Company is an artisan producer of award winning preserves based in the historic village of Hawkshead in the heart of the English Lake District.

You’ll find over 30 of their relishes, pickles and preserves in our Artisan Food Hall range. Holding 50 Great Taste Awards, the Hawkshead Relish Company has become known for quality and excellence.

Production takes place just south of Hawkshead in a beautifully restored 16th century barn on the edge of Esthwaite Water, whilst the original premises is now home to the shop and a showcase for the range in the centre of Hawkshead village.

As with all the products we stock in our Artisan Food Hall range, we selected these products to share with you because we love them! We hope you will too!
