Hawkshead Relish Kashmiri Tomato Chutney


The Kashmiri Tomato Chutney from Hawkshead Relish packs a punch and we love it!

It’s got a tomato base, it has texture, it’s not overly sweet and it’s got a kick to it. Fantastic for spicing up a cheese or cold meat sandwich but we also love it on the side when we cook an indian style meal. Have it with your poppadums, stir it through raw chopped onions as a side dish, add a few spoonfuls to roasted vegetables at the end of cooking, serve with home made potato or butternut squash wedges.  Definitely one of our Hawkshead Relish favourites!

About Hawkshead Relish

The Hawkshead Relish Company is an artisan producer of award winning preserves based in the historic village of Hawkshead in the heart of the English Lake District.

You’ll find over 30 of their relishes, pickles and preserves in our Artisan Food Hall range. They are all handmade in small batches using traditional open pans and locally sourced ingredients, without any artificial flavourings, colourings or preservatives, all are free from nuts and gluten and suitable for vegetarians.

Holding 50 Great Taste Awards, the Hawkshead Relish Company has become known for quality and excellence.

Production takes place just south of Hawkshead in a beautifully restored 16th century barn on the edge of Esthwaite Water, whilst the original premises is now home to the shop and a showcase for the range in the centre of Hawkshead village.
